ZonMw celebrates its 25th birthday. Over those 25 years we have built up extensive knowledge of implementation. We think this is a good time to reflect and share, and we therefore cordially invite you to our Symposium ‘Knowing HOW: 25 Years of Implementation Science and Practice’ on Tuesday 26 September. During this symposium, which you may attend either in person or online, you will not only meet people from ZonMw, but also people from the Netherlands and abroad from (implementation) science, practice, education, and policy.
Program
Our keynote speaker, Tijn Kool, Professor of Appropriate Care at university medical center Radboudumc, will be happy to take you through the history of (de)implementation. In addition, Femke van Nassau, senior researcher at university medical center Amsterdam UMC/VUmc, specialized in implementation, and Barbara van der Linden, senior policy officer at ZonMw, will speak about the current state of affairs from their perspective. Finally: implementing also means planning ahead, which is why we will be working together on the future of implementation in five interactive sessions (four live and one online). Each session focuses on a specific area: policy, research, education, practice and international. View the full program here.
